Budfinix Terms of Service (v2026.09.11). Rules for using the personal finance app.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Budfinix (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

1. Who may use Budfinix

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password, devices, and any two-factor authentication codes.

2. What Budfinix is (and is not)

Budfinix is a personal finance tracking and budgeting tool. You enter wallets, transactions, assets, debts (including payoff plans and refinance records), loans, goals, shared bills, reports/exports, and related records yourself.

Budfinix does not:

  • provide investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice;
  • act as a bank, payment institution, or money transmitter;
  • aggregate bank accounts automatically (manual entry only in the current product);
  • guarantee the accuracy of exchange rates, health scores, payoff or refinance projections, or calculator estimates.

3. Your account and content

You retain ownership of content you submit (transaction notes, receipts, bill details, feedback, and similar). You grant Budfinix a limited licence to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate the Service for you and people you invite (for example wallet collaborators or bill participants).

You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the Service to harass others.

4. Sharing features

Some features share data with other people you choose:

  • wallet collaborators;
  • family plan seats;
  • shared bills and public share links (including guest access);
  • lending links by username.

You are responsible for what you share and with whom. Public bill links may expose settlement details you enter (for example PromptPay or bank fields).

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, taxes, trials, and renewals are shown at checkout. Stripe processes card data; Budfinix does not store full card numbers.

Cancellation and billing history are available in Settings. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt unauthorised access, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law;
  • scrape or abuse APIs beyond normal use;
  • create accounts by automation or false identity;
  • use the Service for fraud or illegal activity.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

Budfinix branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account in Settings. After you confirm deletion, we schedule permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period during which you may cancel the request (see Privacy Policy for retention exceptions).

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50 (or equivalent).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain consumer rights in the EU/EEA).

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect on the stated effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If a new Terms version requires acknowledgement, we will prompt you in the app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live (including EU/EEA consumer law where applicable).
